Management Aptitude Test

Though similar to CAT in its structure, the management entrance exam, MAT conducted by AIMA (All India Management association) for admission to management institutes is said to be easier compared to CAT. Its pattern is more predictable and unlike CAT (which emphasises on application of knowledge), MAT is based on knowledge itself. Thus, students who are good in memorizing formulae and standard set of questions and answers, often grab high scores on this test. Every year MAT is usually held four times in the months of January, May, September and December.
